A Suitable Place

Alternate Title: I Don’t Have Alzheimer’s Yet- Part One
Several months ago I purchased a good camera for myself. This was before Passover, when I was busy, so I stuck the box with all the accessories onto a bookshelf in the living room. Weeks passed, and finally I found a suitable place to store the box.

Now I just wish that I could remember what and where that “suitable place” is……
Does this ever happen to you?

It always happens to me a lot too. It has gotten to the point where I had to designate a certain space for each certain thing. Such as my keys. I have it on a certain place on the counter in the living room near the door where I leave the apartment. I keep my cochlear implant speech processors in two certain places (I got two processor for my left ear). I keep one in a small safe container in my purse, and I put the other one high up on a metal "message board" on my wall (the coil has a magnet that can stick to the metal). I keep the weather emergency stuff in a box by my shelf, and an electric lantern by my box so that if I wake up and the power is out due to weather, I'd know where to find it in the dark. Stuff like that. So I understand. But am I an organized person? Nope! I wish I was. I'm no good at being organized at all. I try.

I want to correct myself. When I said I kept the electric lantern by my box, I meant by the bed where I sleep. English isn't my native language, obviously, but I try my best.
