The Earth is the Lord's

Tuesday and Wednesday are Rosh HaShana (Jewish New Year). I will hopefully be posting regularly after then.
SHANA TOVA
Sorry to any readers who don't belief in G-d. I do. I "blame" my parents.Which is ironic, as they are not "believers". But they brought me to the mountains. There I realized that this could not be an "accident". I remain in awe of H-s hanywork.

  1. It's interesting that you say that.
Rav Hirsch has been quoted as saying that at 120, when we come up before the Heavenly Court, Hashem will proudly ask us, "Hast du mein Schweiz gesehn?", which, when translated means, "Have you seen my Switzerland?" (home of some of the most spectacular mountain vistas anywhere...)
Wishing you a year of health, happiness and peace.

  5. Oh so true! This is why I would love to live in the Mountains of Colorado, I feel so close to God there. I don't know how you can look around and not feel his presence.
